Nizami Mausoleum
RUAZENHE

The road to the poet

Visit

The mausoleum is near Ganja and easily included in a trip to Azerbaijan's second-largest city.

A few tips will make the visit easy.

Visit

At the gates of Ganja

The mausoleum stands by the road near Ganja, on a site traditionally linked with the poet's burial. Nearby are a museum and a garden, and in front of the tower a square with Khamsa sculptures.

A visit is easy to combine with a tour of Ganja itself — its mosques, caravanserais and old quarters.
